We had just reached the apex of the trip and were readying to return when the tragedy in Boston popped our BSM bubble.
We did not let the terror win, no, the programme continued.
Tech Support provided the Team with Libretto’s this year, a winning stroke of augmentation! During the first part of the day we marveled at the seemingly spiritual insights being gleaned. During the ride home the lyrics seemed all to prophetic, contemporary, and … now.
The Wife and I had just returned from our “Mission to See The Mission III: Stonehenge”, and were not only rather knackered, a devil bug had stolen my voice and elected to reside in my chest. The Wife was not without a visit from said bug as well …
But the momentum was un-stoppable: BSMXIII was going to happen, and did it ever.
A crack team of BSM veterans, and for the first time all assembled.
Assignments were given, and executed with masterful precision.
Did I mention how great it was to have the Librettos?
So, just a mere 363 days til BSMXIV!

I just had an epiphany say bsm was canceled this year due to your vacation I would’ve probably had a morning with holly in the city she started her shift at three meaning I’d leave ten minutes of, I then would’ve preceded to walk by the marathon and prob to aquarium making it a good time and to see the marathon finally, that being said I’d probably be there when all this shit went down therefore bsm SAVED my life!
Indeed, WF! BSM and the NTS has in a way, saved all of our lives, perhaps not quite in a literal sense, but certainly as a place where the fire and idealism of youth can continue to burn and flourish, enhanced with the wisdom of experience, in a place of dignity and mutual respect.
Another round of thanks to all for each one’s unique brilliance, and a special, standing ovation for The Driver, for an effort of heroic proportions!
The caption below the group photograph post- Pour House could easily drop us into scandal in light of events later in the day, “Assignments were given, and executed with masterful precision.”
