E Saturday draws closer. The dreaded “E14:Illsequitis” is currently in the shoppe for a “2016 Directors Cut”. The 74 minute opus is now at 42 minutes. Already a vast “improvement”. Purists will be upset, but any watcher of the new edit will be relieved. Haverhast is hoping to trim it further. Even at 42 minutes, it seems like 8 hours.

That looks like Frater E’s Allston residence. It contained that large pen for a reptile of some sort. The sight of an almost entirely intact skin which had been shedded inside the pen remains etched in my memory.
I don’t know if two comments from the same person on the same post are allowed, but today, seeing the photos again, the first picture stood out to me. Was I there for this? The vibe of The Host in the first picture, such dignity, such gleeful anticipation of the pending shotgun….a remarkable moment was captured. And then photo two…..only one word comes to mind….Triumph.
