BSM XIX

~~~
Black Sabbath Monday is traditionally held on the third Monday of April.  “Marathon Monday” or even “Patriot’s” Day.  For scheduling reasons we’ll be hopping into the new Simulator on April Fools Day.  No Joke.  Doors at 0700.  Cake, bacon and coffee will be offered before “hitting the Old Kings Highway”!
The Final Circle …
Here was the team:
Here is what we played:
Pretty nice, right?
The Host served an exquisite red coconut Thai salmon curry, which was well received. No photographs were taken, but using some leftovers and adding jalapeños, cherry tomatoes and an egg we made this for breakfast:
The naan was made last night as part of a tandoori fowl dish the Host made for his wife:
You’ll notice Black Sabbath Monday XIX is coming up. Not sure how it will play out, but do consider, a year from now for Black Sabbath 20 we head out on Black Sabbath Monday Sunday taking the Kings-highway and spending a night (perhaps in East ham at the historic Sheraton four points) to celebrate one of the great holidays of our invention.
End of an Era
On eleven March 2019 Bob and I met at South Station and road the rails to zone 7 to visit Zone Duxbury for the ultimate and final time. Unfortunately, Frank (who was a key architect in making this seminal event happen ) had to call in sick. Regardless, the show had to go on and damn good times occurred.
Here is a glimpse into the final Circle in Zone Duxbury:
Pretty nice, right?
Many thanks to Visitor Blim (or should we say Host Blim) for the many years of hosting generosity at Zone Duxbury. I think we’re all looking forward to future good times at his new abode in the future.
