Wow.
That’s all that can be said.
Wow.
Two Complete Circles of the Full Olympic Standard Five (5) Person Game.
For clarification, Olympic refers to “Olympus” where the Gods hang, not the global sporting thing that happens every 4 years.
Here was the Set List.

Pretty Nice, right?

The momentum to BSMXVI is tangible. There is a feeling in the air …
There is talk of the first ever BSMSaturday Night Circle Game.
Join us.
Here we have two “previews” into BSMs past:
and a new film of once considered lost films:
See you in The BSM Simulator!

Yesterday Beachmont Frank and Visitor Blim returned to TNGHbtS for another round at the Circle:

Here we see Visitor Blim issuing a dreaded “SIFTM” card to BMF:

Actually, it was more of an illustration of what could happen. Highly unlikely at this level of play.
This historic moment with The Captain:

Pretty nice, right?
We completed 2 full circles of the 3 person game. Track 24 was a most vigorous danse round provided by the Host. “A la carte” followed with catering.

… Just a few days away. Here we see iconic moments from BSMXIII and BSMXIV:

This link should bring you to a May 14th post with links to some of the BSM films made over the years:
…. and, here is the recently rediscovered lost trailer to BSM IX:
We are anticipating for BSMXVI a return to not only the BSM Simulator, but the Newly Expanded BSM Simulator. A Youtube link will be provided the day of.
Some historic moments of BSMXV where we see the team clearly enjoying the Good Times in the BSM Simulator I:

Easter Monday has always proven to be one of the best days for the Circle.
No matter what is going on in various worlds, catharsis, nay: triumph prevails.
Visitor Blim, in spite of being in the midst of a very trying time, made the journey in.
At the dice roll the Host got a 9.
Blim got the 0 (zero). About the only time “free will” can be utilized with the draw. He chose the second position (the closer in a two person game).
We elected to try a turn at the newly innovated “Deluxe” 2 person Olympic Standard.
The First 16 songs reflect the one “Deluxe 2 Person Olympic Standard” Circle we spun. Post 16 we ran as “on call mingling”:

Pretty nice, right?
For those sensitive to the issues at hand, you will perceive a particular excellence in todays list.

What a day.
After nearly 3o years of talk, former fellow Wear Guard co-worker and OFFICIAL MC of The Groove Factor, John Loring finally made it to The Circle Game.

A fellow Son of the Commonwealth and child of the South Shore. This was his first mind blowing trip to not only TNGHbtS but to Winthrop itself. Not only does he rock, he rides a bike and boats and believes he’ll be making use of his boat for future summer time visits.
Captain Cat, as usual, got involved:

Here was the set list:

It must be noted, the 14th song was “How Many Times” by local act Spunk, and the actual 16th track was “New Face” by the Nervous Eaters. John was playing via iPod so I had to “borrow” his tracks from the Wonders of the Internet. These two were not able to be found. The last song listed was actually the 17th song played and “off -circle” as it were. John had one more song to play in homage to Captain Cat. Perfect. Or should I say, purrfect.
A powerful, cathartic, and transformative Holy Thursday.

So, as some of you know, a few weeks ago I returned to NY3 to see Black Sabbath on the first leg of their Final Tour: The End. There is talk of seeing the second leg at Great Woods in the Summer, but let’s take everyday as a gift. For those interested here is the OFFICIAL Now Today Documentary of the event. We get to see the Host travel via Amtrak to NYC, meet Tech Support, have GTs, visit the notorious “Trump Tower”, and then see Black Sabbath at Madison Square Garden.
Just under an hour, enjoy the journey:

There have been a few good Circles of late. Let’s hope we have one on Easter Monday, always a good time for the Good Times.
~~~
Speaking of Circles, at the last one, attending by BMF and I, we found yet another “New Revelation” of possibility. The two of us followed the aspects of the four person game. It was astonishing. So, instead of
seated/seated
mingle/danse
seated/seated
danse/mingle
we did:
seated/seated/seated/seated
mingle/danse/mingle/danse
seated/seated/seated/seated
danse/mingle/danse/mingle
Very advanced playing.
The first 16 tracks represent the advanced play 2 person as described above. The second 16 were “a la carte”
Pretty nice, right?
There was one “Circle Candle”, can anyone guess which track? The winner receives “high esteem”.
See you on Easter Monday!
Where to begin?
Against such odds, and now at the advent of a new crisis/adventure, we experienced one of the greatest events so far at TNGHbtS.
It looked something like this:
On the day of the Full Storm Moon we met at TNGHbtS for a thrilling round of The Circle Game. It also served as Visitor Blim’s (MPM) birthday kickoff party. For those interested, we’ll be conducting a “part two” this upcoming Saturday night. The wife will make cake and pizza will be catered.
Anyway, I made an Parsi Goat Eggplant and Green Lentil Curry which looked like this:
pretty nice, right?
To wash it down, we continued our “Manhattan” study. The House Manhattan, aka: The Now Today Manhattan, features 3 bitters as opposed to the usual 1. It being a special event we used some ice made from water I captured in Iceland last September:
This led to the Good Times:
Here’s the setlist:
Visitor Blim left, and the Moon rose:
The Wife returned home, and waiting in our foyer were these delights from Belgium:
This morning I made breakfast with leftover goat eggplant lentil apricot curry and added a fresh local duck egg:
… topped with goat cheese.
Hopefully we’ll see some of you people this Saturday February 27th 2016!
