So, here we are, High Summer 2016.  The High Summer Nightmare Ensemble Plans to perform in NYC’s Central Park on Sunday August 7th.  Join us.  Either there or Periscope (maybe, that or FB or not).  There’s talk of a “Haverhast” worthy film being made.  We are in talks with Tech Support (H1) on the matter.  Meanwhile, I’ve been doing some “live” rehearsing on various sites, like Periscope and FB.  Here are some interesting comments I managed to “capture”:

Monday’s Circle Game in honour of BMF’s upcoming birthday was a triumph, playlist forthcoming …

Another highlight was the Full Moon concert here at TNGHbtS. Herr O played along to new track “Y-Myrelysis” part 1a. We then covered “Heard it in a love song” and concluded with MP classic “If you want to danse”.

A triumph topped off with an evening ablution under the full moon …

We, here at The New Great Hall by the Sea hope to host a Circle Game on Monday the 18th. Doors at 0900hrs. BMF put in a request for his “Official Birthday Event”. Please join us. Included will be the “Handing over the Haverhast” ceremony, Frank was a partial winner for his contribution to last year’s breakthrough winner “Welcome to the Club”.

… Sir Christopher Lee returned to glory.  Late last week “The Greatest”, “The Champ”, Muhammad Ali also returned to glory. Here is an interesting story I never knew about either:

It is. I was promoting a film in Cleveland in 1975 and this PR man said, “Muhammad Ali is in town promoting a title fight [the Thrilla In Manila clash with Joe Frazier]. He’s a big fan and would love to meet you.” We went to this hotel, we had a long chat and I promised to watch the fight back in LA.

I actually went to [Playboy founder] Hugh Hefner’s mansion to watch it, along with a bunch of celebrities and a few boxers. At the end of the fight – which Ali won – this reporter shoved a mike under Ali’s face… “Do you have anything to say to your fans?” Ali says, “Yes. I just want to say that I won this fight for Christopher Lee, who’s out there watching me now.” I couldn’t believe it, because that’s a million dollars’ worth of publicity.

And when the lights came up, people were looking at me, stunned. And this black boxer said, “How did you do that?” I said, “Magic. Black magic.” Thank God he laughed!”
