The Path

~~~
Earlier Today the Wife and I ventured to the new entrance to the Belle Isle Swampland Reserve, or something like that. There is a new entrance from the roadway that connect mainland Revere to Winthrop Island. This no-man zone is called The Bell Isle Something. Anyway, a beautiful path and environs. However, our journey was cut short by an inability to continue:
It was a glorious day, however nice days at the beach bring out the pretty girls and the creeps:
This poor sap was like a moth to the flame. We witnessed him pass by several times, but he couldn’t resist … and had to “make contact” with the pretty girls who live below. Clearly, it didn’t end well for him:
A warning to us all … don’t cross the line …
The afternoon pressed on. I made Turkish coffee and we discovered the “New Sky Station” of the Circle option. Oddly enough, when seated on the Floor the view is of the sky and clouds. Beautiful. We went into the innovative “A La Carte” mode to wrap it up:
Perhaps later a short film will feature some of the moments of the day …
Gilmour Day
~~~

I have many memories around May 25th 1984.

A hot friday night.

End of sophomore year in high school.

Months of anticipation … concert countdown days.

I guess we are all lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground, what have we found: the same old fears, wish you were here.

Wish you were here, Now Today.

Busy Times

~~~
As ever, we are sadly behind schedule here at The New Great Hall by the Sea. But today the floor project was advanced one iota.
The July 4th Summer Wrap Up party is still on however, the town of Winthrop has cancelled this years Fireworks. I still hope a few folks will still wish to kick it. Or perhaps wait until the Annual Reading of Browning’s “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” on Sunday the 22nd. Six years ago we had a similar event met with great reviews and good times.
The New Dominion
~~~

Q: So we have heard about this “new dominion” a couple of times.  Can you tell us something about it?  Is it Satanic?

VH: From time to time we take on a new campaign.  Some fizzle out, others achieve great victories.  The “New Dominion” has to do with an extra 50lbs The Host has accrued in his hard labours.

Q: So, your talking about some new Zen diet or something like that?

VH: In that ball park.  But, at no expense of The Good Times.  Plus, with the Pandemic Obesity problem, we need to do our part.

Q: Is 50lbs realistic?

VH: It’s a start.
