As ever, we are sadly behind schedule here at The New Great Hall by the Sea. But today the floor project was advanced one iota.
The July 4th Summer Wrap Up party is still on however, the town of Winthrop has cancelled this years Fireworks. I still hope a few folks will still wish to kick it. Or perhaps wait until the Annual Reading of Browning’s “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” on Sunday the 22nd. Six years ago we had a similar event met with great reviews and good times.

No fireworks on July 4th? What the hell kinda nonsense is that?
It’s tragic and true. It should still be a lively day and evening with peripheral fireworks in the air, but no guaranteed glory.
