Extensions Saturday 2012: The Aftermath

Good Times were at an all-time high last evening.

A really high level of entertainment was provided, beginning with Extensions 8.

Here are a couple photographs from the evening. Hopefully a few more will appear from others in days ahead.

… it wasn’t all smooth sailing:

There were no duds in the programme last night. Every feature was a “step in the right direction”. I’m still awaiting analysis on a few items, but I think we all know which film will take The Haverhast this year. There is debate whether or not to announce the runner up as well as the 2nd runner up …

more good times:

  1. This was my favorite Extensions Saturday since the glory days at the Flat. So many damn good times. Thanks to DJM and MPW for their hospitality. Of course all of the effort that went in to each video production deserves special praise.
Disclaimer: For the record, there is a special place in my heart for Early Horror.

  2. Many thanks to The Host and Staff at TNGHBTS for throwing such a massively enjoyable time. So many international sensations; film locations from all over the world, fine authentic cuisine from the Orient, herbal relaxation direct from our Netherlands friends…entertainment on a global scale. And oh, what entertainment. The bar has certainly been raised once again for pure cinematic enlightenment. One wonders where things will go from here. Obviously speaking for all attendees, I dare say…hopefully more of “The Rare”.

    Here’s to Extensions Saturday!

  3. Yes, I concur with the above sentiments. An Extensions Saturday to be reckoned with… The creative energy was simply unsurpassed. A special thanks to the Host and His Wife for all their remarkable efforts to keep the spirit of Good Times alive and well. Twenty years have now passed since the end of the Rycortian “Classic Period”. We now move into uncharted territory . . . for real.

Also – I would like to suggest a “The Horror Vignettes – 25 Years Later” viewing party for 2013. This may require a full afternoon, with intermission(s). Perhaps during high summer?

    • Glad everyone appeared to have a Good Time. As for the future programme I have a few ideas, which hopefully includes The Horror Vignettes.

But clearly the future of Extensions Saturday lies more in new works ….
