This is in reference to outsourced video. Even with the “Exacting Standards of The New Cinema” (ESTNC) in place, nothing is outlawed. There is a direction to all “in-house” material, but it is not the rule of the house.

Thank you for the clarification. I was actually a bit surprised at the apparent controversy over using “outsourced video”. My original film concept had far more of it, so I suppose it’s fortunate that I used it sparingly…
What makes it controversial is that we are reaching a point of it being un-necessary. A good story or morality play or even a pitch will stand on its own.
And to reiterate: nothing is forbidden, but I have hope the bedrock of The New Cinema will be as homegrown as possible.
