Lady Terror

Not to go on and on about last year, but this is one of the better versions available of this track. Moreover, it features Mr Y on “lead guitar”. This was the 2nd time he heard the track and now was playing along live, and does a job worthy of “an all-roundsmen”. (although we see very little of him in this video, his lack of “spray painting” does wonders for the track and speaks volumes of his craft.)

  1. Over the years I’ve had a somewhat recurring dream where I would suddenly appear onstage with a band I’d never played with, playing music I’d never heard. I’m glad the reality of that situation turned out better than my imagination.

Thank you for this rare glimpse and sound, it brings back fond memories of a time I’m grateful I made time for.

The work still haunts to this day…

  2. My first listening session for this track is not quite halfway complete. It comes shortly before dawn during a snowstorm. The sky is a patchwork of different hues, as night breaks apart, yielding to day, yet it is all shrouded in the gleams of falling snow. A fitting natural setting for this magnificent piece!! I was reminded of the great Sandy Bull track, “Blend” throughout the first part of this song. Now as vocals cascade, a whole new aura falls, much like the current sky, the song drifts from movement to movement hypnotically and naturally. Bravo! Beautiful work.
