I shall always savor the many visits with Willow. From the initial meeting, struck by her beautiful coat, to my surprise at her eager and vigorous spirit, which would come to be her defining characteristic for me. The occasions when she would visit during a quiet sitting, sometimes nestling into me, other times, positioning my hand at her preferred spot for a good knuckle massage along the jawline. Her wisdom in recognizing when she had socialized enough with the humans, and her daring in staying on the dance floor for the raucous Haverhast Rounds of The Circle Game. A grand legacy!
