Mission Complete

Back in the Commonwealth after a 24 hour adventure to NY3.

Q: NY3?

A: click here

Actually that’s a different version than what we group up with, but … you get the point.  New York City.

Q: I hear there were multiple cases of “Upper Decking” it going on. Is this true?

A: You’ll have to see the documentary.

So many good things to say about the Event, the itinerary, The Host (for this: not me), and The Mission.

I do hope you’ll be in audience some day to the forthcoming film: “The Mission to See The Mission IV: NY3”

Lots of Good Times ahead.  Guaranteed Good Times Tech Support’s Warranty says.

Let’s hope we have some Guaranteed Damn Fn Good Times.

speaking of GDfnGTs, here is the new Rock Video for The Mission’s latest single, it’s very rockin:

The Ghost Ship was one of the highlights during yesterdays Three Person Full Olympic Circle Game.

It looked like this:

Songs 1-24 represented two full circles.  Then we went into mingle mode with Visitor Blim departing shortly after song 28.

pretty nice, right?

~~~
As we all know Summer has four parts.  But there’s been talk of making it five.  Do we label the time after Labour Day as “Summers’ Twilight”?  Unsure, may not be necessary …
~~~

Next Thursday Visitor Blim and I will meet at South Station and take the 0815hrs Train to Penn Station.  There we will be met by Tech Support for, as he declared: “Guaranteed Good Times” (GGTs).  All part of “The Mission to See The Mission IV: NY3”.

~~~
Also, Extensions Saturday will be here before we know it. There was never an E9 or 10, but there is E11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, and O’s X19. To look forward to. We have elected to debut “Extensions 11” this year. Why wait the two years because “you never know”.
“Extensions 11” began as an audio only project.  Recent archiving has had the opus digitized.  Instead of the 45 minute concert a new 17 minute work will be presented.  A 2013 remix has been created and some startling photography will accompany the work.  Since this is a World Premiere, Extensions 11 will, I repeat, will be a contender for the coveted “Haverhast”.
New Page
~~~

Readers may note yet another new page that is available on this site.

A few weeks back we began logging The Album Study, of which a record is being kept.

Now available are The Charts.

The Charts are used to help navigate the domain of The Full Olympic Standard Circle Game.

Tech Support

~~~
So, here it is.  The anniversary of the current incarnation of Tech Support.
also known as:
Bryant Evans
Fishstix or number 6 or 7
Joshua F Bryan
or to some of us from “the old days” as:
With Josh.
Here are a few timely photographs:
ImageImageImage
Both as “Tech Support” and “Artist”.
The above historic photographs (not for sale) give us a glimpse into the man at work. At work where he has thrived in both the “tech” field and in “art”.  What makes the last 2 photographs special is that we get a glimpse into the mind of an artist.
What follows is a wholly disturbing tribute to this great member of our Society and the human race:
CLick Here!
Here’s to many, many more!
Late Summer 2013
~~~

What’s turning out to be one of the Greatest Summers of All Time, yes indeed.

Last Saturday We had the rare opportunity to host a Saturday Night Circle Game here at The New Great Hall by the Sea.  Before the proceedings Visitor Blim, Winthrop Frank, and I fortified ourselves with a sushi boat feast at OLG:

ImageImage

Steeled by the fishiness we endured three Full Olympic Standard 3 person Circles.(the first 24 songs)  This was followed by a spell of “a la carte”. It was during the “a la carte” we were able to further explore in a few segments the power, magick, and horror of “The Circle Candle”.

 Here is the play list for those that like to recreate at home:

ImageImage

Pretty nice, right?

Here is a rare photograph of the three of us at TNGHbtS “mid game”:

Image

Hopefully we’ll see more of you all before the Equinox …

… and yes, be looking for a “surprise” announcement concerning this years Extensions Saturday Event.

Events Concerning BSM Live (The Good Times)

~~~
Indeed We had some Good Times, damn Good Times …
Image
The Eve of BSMLive we took Janice to a marvelous Luncheon at Sako’s:
Image
note his awesome, and totally metal backyard:
Image
A wonderful feast of baba ganoush, tzaziki, falafel, tabouli, pita, spicy peppers, swordfish, chicken kabobs, rice pilaf, Armenian coffee, baklava, and these brilliant macaroons:
Image
Masterful …
~~~

On the morning of BSMLive Brother Jerome and I witnessed this:

whilst sipping coffee.  Followed by The Sitting.  Then I was off to escort Janice to the South Shore via ferry.  Here Jim (aka The King) took Janice home:

Image

I ferried back and returned to TNGHbtS where Brother Jerome, Winthrop Frank and myself engaged in The CIrcle Game until Visitor Blim arrived, 6 hours later. Some of the fortifications were leftovers from the previous days feast:

Hmmm … the playlist:

pretty nice, right?

A toast to our driver (both past and present):

Image

Visitor Blim arrived and we were OTM.

For years I swore I’d never return to this venue, (Great Woods), but with the Premium Service Blim provided, we parked in an exterior lot.  This place was great.  Other chaps “getting ready”, a civilized bathroom, and a beautiful place to be:

Image

This was also the store of a mysterious glass-works store:

Image

Rich in Good Times, SIFTM cards had to issued:

Image

Then we set out for the Show:

Image

We were entering the arena itself (some with silly-drink in hand) as the siren of War Pigs began.  So good.  Part of the Premium Package included having the row to ourselves, and the row in front.  Did I say Premium? We were now in the Deluxe Zone.  Thanks to Visitor Blim, driver and Ticket agent.  Here we see an extremely rare photograph of Blim having a “Good Time”:

Image

Sadly, we were unable to coordinate with G, but knowing he was in the house made it all right.  G (aka “Rob”) was the first one I knew to embrace Black Sabbath.  I think I even had the opportunity to see Ozzy with Rob in 1982 or 1983 and for reasons I dont remember I couldn’t make it.  One of the few regrets of my life.  I wonder if I had “made it” the Groove Factor would have been more about Black Sabbath and less about The Cult …

It wasn’t until 1987 my ears began to turn the direction more confidently in their direction.  By 1990 I had the first 6 records and Ozzy stuff.  And then by 1998 or so the seeds of BSM were being sown.  Now here we are, here we all are: Now Today.

~~~
God Bless You All.
God Bless Ozzy Osbourne!
God Bless Tony Iommi!
God Bless Geezer Butler!
… and yes:
God Bless Bill Ward.
God Bless the drummer on the new album and the drummer at the concert!
Everybody Stand Up!
Put Your Hands Up!
I want to See Your Hands!
Go Fucking Crazy!
I love you All!
The MP, BSMLive, and Now Today
~~~

It’s the Eve of BSMLive.  Hopefully we’ll see some of you there.

Today The Wife, Janice, and I are having a luncheon at the home of Sako.  Sako was last seen at The Pied Piper Event last year.  Before that he attended the Led Zeppelin Event at The Great Hall Allston.  We first got to know Sako during my days at Stephan Coiffeur …

Earlier this week I digitized the audio vault of worthy material by The Missionary Position.  My rock act from late 1987 until July 1990.

Now Available:

Itunes put the tracks into alphabetical order. Interested parties would get the corrected running order.

A New Programme

~~~
Visitors will note a new feature here at May14th: Album Study, located in the upper right hand corner. When two or more members of The Society are gathered for an intentional listening of an album we’ll keep a log of it here.
Proper albums, devoid of “bonus” material.
Submissions should be carefully screened beforehand.
Seven days until BSM Live …
